Tata Motors Has a Good News For You 🎁

What Happened?

Tata Motors just hit a major milestone—selling over 2 lakh electric vehicles—and to celebrate, it’s throwing discounts.

For the next 45 days, buyers can grab benefits worth up to ₹1.86 lakh.

Here’s what’s on the table:

  • ₹50,000 exchange bonus

  • full on-road financing

  • Six months of free charging at Tata Power stations

  • Free 7.2 kW AC Fast Charger (Oh, no more searching for an empty charger like it’s a rare Pokémon)

Here’s Where Things Get Interesting

Tesla is rumoured to enter India by April 2025, with shiny new showrooms in Mumbai and Delhi. Tata’s timing with these discounts? Totally a coincidence… or is it?

What’s Next?

Tata Motors is basically saying, “EV buyers, stay with us—we’ve got perks!” And given that it already rules India’s EV market, this move makes sense.

Beyond brand battles, this is great news for buyers. EVs have long suffered from sticker shock, but discounts like these make them more accessible.

Also, Hear This!

Investors are keeping a close eye on the action—Tata Motors’ stock was up 1.67%, trading at ₹692.4 on the NSE.

Fans Stream Frustration Instead of Match 😡

Millions of cricket fans tuned in for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy opener—only to watch the loading screen instead.

Jio Hotstar, the official streaming partner, faced massive technical issues, leaving viewers stuck in an endless buffering loop.

Social media erupted, with one user pleading, “Jio, if you can’t handle Hotstar, just break up with them!”

Despite the chaos, big brands like Dream11 and ICICI Direct are still backing the tournament.

Zeta’s Profitability Quest Begins 💥

Banking tech firm Zeta bagged a cool $50 million in strategic funding, pushing its valuation to $2 billion—up from $1.15 billion in 2021.

That’s a 1.7x leap without even actively looking for investors!

CEO Bhavin Turakhia says they’ve slashed their burn rate from $60 million to $20 million in FY25 and are on track to turn profitable by FY26.

With 25 million accounts already on its platform and another 25 million in the pipeline, Zeta is set for big things.

Cars24 Hits the Loan Lane    🚗

What Happened?

Cars24 just took a sharp turn—straight into the lending business!

The used car marketplace is now offering car loans and personal loans through its shiny new platform, Loans24

Since 2019, it has helped customers get ₹4,000 crore in car loans, and now it’s eyeing ₹2,000-2,500 crore annually just for used car financing.

The Reason?

Why? Because India’s used car market, which once zoomed at 15-18% growth, is now stuck in single-digit traffic.  And it is time to find a new fuel source—loans!

The Numbers Game

Cars24’s revenue jumped 25% to ₹6,917 crore in FY24, but so did its losses—₹500 crore and counting.

Meanwhile, rival Spinny saw a 14% revenue increase and somehow managed to cut losses by 28% (probably skipped a few toll booths).

The company is also dodging risky small-ticket loans and targeting car buyers with bigger pockets, aiming for a 15% return on investment.

But here’s the real kicker

70% of Indians don’t have access to formal credit. So while people struggle to get loans, Cars24 is stepping in, hoping to turn those “loan denied” frowns upside down.

But can Cars24 drive smoothly in the bumpy world of lending? That depends—will it be a fintech Ferrari or just another company stuck in financial potholes?

Qatar Helps India with $10 Billion Investment 💰

India has bagged a $10 billion jackpot—courtesy of Qatar!

Following PM Modi’s talks with Qatar’s Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Gulf nation committed to investing in India’s booming infrastructure, tech, and logistics sectors.

But wait, there’s more! Both countries plan to double their annual trade to $28 billion in five years and might even sign a Free Trade Agreement.

Singapore Airlines’ Profit Takes Off ✈️

Singapore Airlines (SIA) is under a cash-rain thanks to the Air India-Vistara merger.

The airline’s profit more than doubled in Q3, reaching S$1.63 billion ($1.22 billion)—way up from S$659 million last year.

The secret sauce is a one-time gain of S$1.10 billion from the merger, which handed SIA a 25.1% stake in the new Air India group.

Adani’s Planning A Surprise 😲

What Happened?

Adani Group has posted a 10.1% YoY increase in EBITDA, reaching ₹86,789 crore in the trailing twelve months.

The company’s core infrastructure businesses—including Adani Green Energy, Adani Power, Adani Energy Solutions, and Adani Total Gas—contributed 84% of total EBITDA.

The company also reassured investors that it has sufficient liquidity to cover debt servicing for at least the next 12 months.

Inside the Game Plan

Adani is gearing up for another high-growth cycle, planning over $100 billion (₹8 lakh crore) in investments over the next decade.

Unlike its previous expansion cycle (FY20-FY22), which was debt-driven, this time, the company aims to fund capital expenditures primarily through expanding cash flows.

Ratings upgrades have also been a bright spot.

Five years ago, less than 50% of Adani’s assets were rated ‘AA-’ or higher—now, that figure stands at 75%, boosting investor confidence.

Zoom Out

Adani is doubling down on infrastructure, from green energy to logistics, and it’s got the cash flow to back it up.

With $10 billion+ in annual EBITDA and a strong credit profile, the group aims to position its businesses as global leaders by FY30.
